    Online and Couture Cake orders: 3 hour delivery window within Sydney Metro:

    Planet Cake will ship your cake order between the hours of 10am-1pm (AM) or 1pm-5pm (PM) Monday - Sunday unless otherwise stated. This applies to all Online and Couture orders in Australia only.  Depending on which Sydney metropolitan area you are located, it may take within 3-4 hours to deliver your cake and we will notify you by phone if your delivery is not running on schedule.

    Delivery Costs:

    Planet Cake provides an Online Delivery price of $80 within the postcodes listed.
    Click here to check if your postcode is eligible for delivery. If your postcode falls outside of our listed postcodes please contact us on info@planetcake.com.au as additional charges will apply. Couture Cake orders delivery will be quoted at the time of booking generally starting from $77 depending on your location. As a general rule we do not deliver more than 2 hours outside Sydney.

    Accepting deliveries:

    All cake deliveries must be dropped at a premesis where someone will need to be there to accept and store the cake. If you're not home/event centre not open when it arrives, a courier will attempt to call you 3 times, if you do not respond we will bring the cake back to Planet Cake and you will be required to book another delivery (at an additional fee) or collect the cake from Planet Cake between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday - Saturday from our Shop in Balmain (106 Beattie St, Balmain NSW 2041)

    International shipping:

    We currently ship only within Sydney and surrounding suburbs in NSW, Australia.  
     

    Returns & Refunds

    Your happiness is our number one priority at Planet Cake. If you receive a cake that is damaged or faulty, we will happily replace it for you.

    • When you collect your cake from our store in Balmain (106 Beattie St, Balmain NSW 2041) or when your online cake is delivered, you will be asked to inspect the cake for any obvious damage.
    • In the event that you receive a defective or damaged cake, a replacement will be dispatched (subject to dates) once we receive the original cake back (in its entirety), at our cost. We reserve the final right to determine if a cake is actually faulty or damaged.
    • Delivery fees are non-refundable. Please ensure that all original items including packaging are returned. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit.
    • Cancelled cakes will attract an administration fee of $100. Cancellation 5 days or less prior to the scheduled booking date will require full payment.
    • Every effort will be made by Planet Cake to match the designs on our website. However due to the subjectivity of the work and the different decorators involved there may be slight variations. There are also structural limitations when using cake as a sculptural medium. As a consequence Planet Cake will need to make certain decisions during the process of manufacture that may affect the style of decoration, proportion or structure of the cake.
    • For complaints made about cakes after the confirmation a goods form has being signed Planet Cake requests that the cake in question either be photographed or returned to Planet Cake for inspection. Any other complaint not covered by the 'Fair Trading Act 1987 No. 68' will be subject to our customer service policy with remedies at the discretion of management.
    • Figurines - every measure is taken by our Artists to ensure that your figurines are made to the highest standard; however they are made from icing and Styrofoam and as a result are very fragile. We are happy to provide care instructions for your figurines and if cared for properly they will last for years; however we do not accept any liability for your figurines once they have been removed from the cake (photo evidence required when figurines break whilst on the cake). .
